Care Network Trusted Friend Volunteering

Back to Activities
Trusted Friend volunteers support people to get out and about in their communities, perhaps to go for a walk, go shopping or to a group, and generally help people feel confident to do the things they want to do. This rewarding role gives you a chance to support local people.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Volunteering can help increase your confidence. Supporting others, can help you to feel a sense of accomplishment and pride, which can help to increase your own confidence
  • Volunteering can boost your mood.
  • Volunteering for Care Network can help you feel connected to both them an organisation, but also to your local communities.
