Care Network Trusted Friend Volunteering

Trusted Friend volunteers support people to get out and about in their communities, perhaps to go for a walk, go shopping or to a group, and generally help people feel confident to do the things they want to do. This rewarding role gives you a chance to support local people.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

Volunteering can help increase your confidence. Supporting others, can help you to feel a sense of accomplishment and pride, which can help to increase your own confidence
Volunteering can boost your mood.
Volunteering for Care Network can help you feel connected to both them an organisation, but also to your local communities.
