The Polish Seniors Club is for Polish nationals aged over 55+ living in Peterborough & Fenland. It is an opportunity to socialise and meet like minded people.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Socialising without language barriers makes it easier to meet new people, reducing feelings of isolation.
  • Opportunity to learn more about healthy lifestyles, including support via the Eastern European Health Trainers, who speak your language.
  • Taking part in new activities can give a sense of achievement.

The sessions are supported by the Eastern European Health Trainers from Healthy You.  They are available to ask about health advice or how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  They may also support in helping you access other lifestyle services provided by Healthy You.

 

  • It is free to attend.
  • Refreshments are provided free.

Note that there is no parking at the Compas Charity Centre on Fitzwilliam Street, however public carparks are near by, which require payment.
