Community Expertise Leading to Eradicating Barriers and Realising Access. Taking care of Everyone
£100k funding to support minority ethnic groups in Peterborough to improve access to mental health care for those experiencing severe mental illness within their community.
We welcome applications for funds from representatives of any minority ethnic group within Peterborough to improve access to mental health support for those with severe mental illness (SMI). We are not looking for perfect funding proposals, but rather would like to hear your ideas and develop these with you to see how funding might help. Please explain your idea in as much detail as possible, including approximate funds required. You should make clear the current barriers experienced by your community in accessing mental health support and explain how your proposal seeks to overcome this. Then join us (if you would like) on a collaborative panel on Wed 30 June, 10:00 – 12:00, with other proposers to review and reflect on all the submissions. These discussions will help inform the final funding decisions, which will be made by the Peterborough Exemplar Steering Group committee.
